Withdrawal Limits

Withdrawal limits are a critical security mechanism that protects the platform's liquidity and ensures sustainable operations. They help prevent sudden large withdrawals that could destabilize the system and protect the interests of all users.

If for any reason this is too low, please fill out a ticket.

How Withdrawal Limits Work

The withdrawal limits are dynamically calculated based on two main factors:

  1. Community Fund Size: The total amount of funds available in the community fund. In alpha, this will be pegged to 33% of the community fund.
  2. 24-Hour Withdrawal Window: The amount of funds withdrawn in the last 24 hours

Net Withdrawal Calculation

Withdrawal limits operate on a net basis, meaning:

  • Deposits offset withdrawals
  • If a user deposits $100 and then withdraws $100, the net effect is $0

Dynamic Nature

Withdrawal limits are not static and will evolve with the platform:

  • Limits may be adjusted based on platform growth and market conditions
  • The 33% threshold is an initial guideline and may be modified after alpha
  • Changes will be communicated transparently to the community

This system ensures that the platform can maintain sufficient liquidity while still allowing users reasonable access to their funds.
